Hi Alexander - I'd read the 10th Anniversary Edition - it's the more rounded of the releases. Buying the split books Apprentice/Master is useful if you have to lug around the books in the backpack on your daily commute. The split editions are the same as the 10th Anniversary - it's just you'll be charged for the price of 2 books.

Dear Colin Yeung,

A few years ago I have read this wonderful saga. Now I want to read it again, but I found out that there are several versions of the first book now. The first book Magician, the split up version Apprentice and Master, and also the 10th anniversary version. I have no clue which one to read now, either the split up version, or the 10th anniversary version.
Please help.

Sincerely,

Alexander

That's not necessarily bad customer service: if they can't match it, they can't match it. Unless iiNet use Telstra infrastructure (which I don't believe they do), it may be a case of not being physically able to do that and less a question of willingness. I remember TPG being able to offer faster internet speeds than the other providers back in 2006: I don't know the technicalities of why things like that happen, but it's not always the fault of the providers.
I, on the other hand, hand Telstra: they treat their staff like dirt and have demonstrated absolutely no consideration for customer loyalty. I put up with them at the moment for my mobile service but you can bet that as soon as that contract is up and I'm working again I'll be ditching them asap. I've marked the day I can leave in my calendar! But that is, of course a personal preference. I understand that they provide the best service particularly for those in rural areas and if I spend as much time working in such areas as I expect to, I may have to eat those Telstra hating words. But at the end of the day, if you want good service for your tech, don't spend so much time in the middle of nowhere.
